Baby Steps



MY PLAN THIS WEEK IS TO START EXERCISING. 
 YEAH, ITS BEEN AWHILE AND I'M STILL USING THE EXCUSE THAT THE ELLIPTICAL IS IN THE SHOP AND IT IS FREEZING OUT THERE. 

MY GOAL IS TO SIMPLY WALK TO THE MAILBOX AND BACK AT LEAST TWICE A DAY
 THEN INCREASE IT AS THE WEEK GOES ON.

I KNOW THAT IT DOESN'T SOUND LIKE MUCH, BUT HAVING A PLAN AND A GOAL WILL GIVE ME DIRECTION ON THIS JOURNEY. 
IF I WERE TO GO GET ON MY ELLIPTICAL RIGHT NOW  I'D LAST ONLY A FEW MINUTES.  THAT WOULD LEAVE ME DISCOURAGED AND NOT VERY EXCITED TO TRY AGAIN LATER.

WE HAVE WALK BEFORE WE RUN.....
THAT'S WHY I'M TAKING THESE BABY STEPS.

    Actually, I think it sounds like an excellent plan! You are not setting yourself up for failure, but for success. I need to follow your lead, and make a definite PLAN for my exercise. I've been sort of drifting there! :-}

    So, me too. I'll make my plan today, and then follow it!
